Meet Rachel.
Director • Showrunner • Producer
Rachel Bozich is a New York–based documentary filmmaker known for her emotionally charged, visually distinctive storytelling and her commitment to stories that reexamine the cultural narratives we think we already know. Rachel began her career in editing — an experience that continues to shape her directorial and producing approach. Her work is guided by a deep understanding of story architecture, rhythm, and emotional pacing, allowing her to craft documentaries that are as cinematic as they are investigative.
Across her work, Rachel is known for building deep trust with her subjects, blending investigative rigor with empathy and cinematic style. Her films often fuse intimate access, archival storytelling, and striking design — transforming true stories into portraits of humanity, memory, and modern mythmaking.
When she’s not in production, Rachel is an active member of the Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA) and a frequent speaker on crediting standards, ethical storytelling, and the evolving landscape of nonfiction film.
